Rob Forenza began his commercial real estate career in 1998. After several years of working for a large commercial real estate firm, Rob was interested in starting a boutique real estate company that could be quick and adaptive to client requirements. Over his career, Rob has been involved with all aspects of commercial real estate including acquisitions, dispositions, lease listings and tenant representation and asset management.
Prior to commercial real estate, Rob practiced law for the City of Denver and later moved to a general litigation firm in Boulder, Colorado. Rob received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1994 from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 1991 from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Rob is very involved in the community. He is currently on the board of directors for the Together Center in Redmond. He has served as President of the Rotary Club of Redmond, Rotary Board of Directors and chaired a variety of service committees. Rob has coached youth sports for his two children and regularly participates in their school functions.
Sam Peterson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Applied Capital. With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, he has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the business. Prior to Applied Capital, Sam worked for a large institutional commercial real estate firm for eleven years. He has mastered the critical skills required to help his clients achieve successful outcomes with their real estate needs. Sam has B.A. from the University of Washington and achieved the U of W Commercial Real Estate Designation. He is a Bellevue native and lives on the Eastside with his wife and three children.
Beth began her property management career in 2007 working for a boutique property management firm in Kirkland. She moved on to work for a large California-based real estate company managing their Washington portfolio consisting of over 600,000 square feet of combined retail, office, warehouse, and industrial commercial real estate.
Beth has developed a strong background and expertise for creating solid relationships with both building owners and tenants. Her ability to understand the specific needs of each individual building owner along with her proven track record for cutting costs without compromising value provides an unprecedented service to her clients.
Beth graduated from the University of Washington receiving a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Speech Communications. A Washington native, Beth was born and raised in Seattle and now resides on the Eastside with her husband, children, and West Highland white terrier.
Daron Sturgill began his career in commercial real estate in 1991 working as a development analyst for Koll Development Company. After working on several new office and industrial projects in the Northwest, he was promoted to property and asset management. After Koll sold all of their assets in the Northwest, Daron began working for Quality Food Centers (QFC) as real estate manager and then with Starbucks Coffee Company performing site acquisition and new store leasing. After six years with Starbucks Store Development division, Daron began a career in commercial brokerage in the year 2000 specializing in retail, office, and industrial leasing and sales. Daron has completed hundreds of lease and purchase transactions throughout the Northwest. Daron’s diverse knowledge base of commercial real estate is a strong asset to his client’s needs.
Daron has a B.A from Washington State University and completed the Real Estate Certificate program from the University of Washington. A Bellevue native, he lives in Bellevue with his wife and 5 children. He is involved in youth sports and is an avid skier and windsurfer.
